The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies new promotional banner


Warner Bros. Picture and MGM have revealed a massive banner from the Middle-Earth!


The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world. Enraged, Smaug rains his fiery wrath down upon the defenseless men

The best of 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

Toronto International Film Festival 2014 is just ended. So many movies have been presented this year. Here there are three biopics that we can't wait to see:

1) The Face of an Angel
Directed by Michael Winterbottom
 
Both a journalist (Kate Beckinsale) and a documentary filmmaker (Daniel Bruhl) chase the story of a murder and its prime suspect. Inspired by the 2007 murder trial of Amanda Knox.

Also starring: Cara Delevingne and Genevieve Gaunt.


 
2) The Imitation Game
Directed by Morten Tyldum

English mathematician, logician and cryptanalyst Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch), helps crack the Enigma code during the Second World War. The only woman in the team is Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), Turing's confidante and complicated love interest. Based on the biography Alan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hoges.

The movie wins the TIFF 2014 People's Choice Award.

Also strarring: Mark Strong, Matthew Goode and Allen Leech (Downton Abbey).


3) Wild
Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée

Cheryl Strayed (Reese Witherspoon) decides to hike more than a 1,000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail alone, as a way to heal herself, following her divorce, the death of her mother and years of reckless, destructive behavior. The movie is an adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's 2012 memoir about a self-discovery.

Also strarring: Laura Dern, Michiel Huisman (Games of Thrones) and Gaby Hoffman.
